Leave a gift in your will
A bequest is one of the most meaningful and lasting gifts you can make. By remembering Bowel Cancer New Zealand in your will, you help ensure a future where fewer families are affected by this disease.
What is a bequest?
A bequest is a gift you leave to a charity in your will. It's a simple way to support a cause you care about, and it costs you nothing during your lifetime. No matter the size, a bequest to Bowel Cancer New Zealand helps fund research, support services, and advocacy for generations to come.
Types of bequests
There are several ways to include a gift in your will. You can choose the option that works best for your situation:
Residuary bequest
A share of your estate after all other gifts and expenses have been paid. This is the most common type of charitable bequest and automatically adjusts with the value of your estate.
Pecuniary bequest
A specific dollar amount left to Bowel Cancer New Zealand. This gives you certainty about the size of your gift.
Specific bequest
A particular asset such as property, shares, or other valuables left to the charity.
